This is the least intuitive part and most tedious part of the process. The reward is that once you have keyed all of the required information in, it will be there for you next year.
There is an $8 charge per youth (<19) player and a $12 charge per adult (>= 19) player due at the time the proof of age information is provided to the League Registrar.
Registration After entering team information the coach is prompted to enter complete player information, including, a contact E-mail address (where available) for each player. The system has the ability to send an E-mail to the coach and every player for which an E-mail address is provided, any time there is a change in game schedule and/or a special circumstance, like closing of a facility for an entire day due to bad weather.
A team can register up to eighteen players to a single team. The Laws of the Game limit the number of players who can play in a single game to a maximum of twelve. Experienced Futsal coaches will tell you that between eight and nine players is an ideal number for a Futsal game provided all the players are of about the same ability. If you require an official Futsal roster for play in a tournament or another Futsal League the WAFL registrar can prepare a roster for you with up to twelve players of your choice. There is a $10.00 administrative charge to prepare a special Futsal roster for any non league event. You can avoid this charge by using your league roster and player passes.
Prior to the first game the players USYSA player pass is presented to confirm players good standing with USYSA and to confirm the player's date of birth. After entering all information for all players select the submit button.
The registration process in future years will be significantly faster for returning players. Only information that changes will need to be entered.
Rosters and Player Passes The information entered on the secure web site is used to prepare your roster and USFF Player Passes for your players. The registrar will mail you your roster and player passes. Check them for complete accuracy. If there are any errors follow the procedure provided with your roster and player passes.
Once you have checked your roster and player passes, have each player sign their pass on the signature line on the back side of the card. The signature on the back must match the signature on the players USYSA Player Pass and be exactly the same as the name on the front side of the pass. Glue a 1" x 1" facial front view photo on the back of the Player Pass.
Bring your Player Passes to your first game along with your roster. For proof of birth bring each players USYSA Player Pass. If the player is not registered to play travel soccer, please bring an original birth certificate with raised seal or their passport. After checking the players signature, photo and date of birth the player pass and state roster will be embossed with the VFA seal.
Additional Players New players can be registered with USFF at any time and can added to your roster. Maximum roster size is a total of 18 players.
